10 Keys To Successful

dymond phillips • Jun 20, 2017
Before I break down my list I will give you a background on where this list came from. This list is compiled from videos that I had watched. I have watched videos from my three personal favorite entrepreneurs: Dr. Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs, Jay-Z and Will Smith. Being young and black in America is very difficult even when it comes to gaining personal success. When I say personal success, I mean working by yourself on a business that you started. Below is a list that I believe are the keys to success. I hope you enjoy.
You cannot achieve success without failure.
Every success story comes with a failing story. Do not be afraid to fail.
Bring your dream to life before you die.
While you are living on this beautiful earth, bring all your dream to life. You do not want to see the ghost of all your dreams haunt you on why you did not bring them to life.
Aspire to make a difference.
On your road to success, your goal should not only be to make it in life but it should be to make a difference.
Dreams need goals
Just like a car needs an engine and gas, your dream needs someone to get it going.
Ignore the opinions of others.
On your road to success, people will talk down on you and tell you things like “That idea is dumb” or “You’ll never make it”. Ignore the haters. They are talking down on you because that could not achieve their goal therefore they don’t want to see someone else make it.
Lock in on your dream.
You should have tunnel vision when it comes to your dream. Nothing should take you off that path.
#BELIEVE
#7 speaks for itself.
You can’t please everyone.
You will have to make some sacrifices on your road. Not everyone will be happy with some of the decisions you will make.
#PRAY
Walk by faith and not by sight. Pray and your plans is fall into place.
Don’t be afraid to say no.
DO NOT BE AFRIAD TO SAY NO. DO NOT BE A YES MAN. Being a yes man will make you take a detour to your dream.
