We’re only a few days away from the biggest shopping day in the USA, Black Friday. Although, since 2020, most companies have been stretching Black Friday out to lasting all Thanksgiving week thru cyber Monday 11/27. Growing up, Black Friday, was my favorite day of the year. My cousins and I would hit the stores at midnight and literally be out until 6pm that evening. I love the thrill of it all and I’m a sucker for a deal. I’m not the person that buys Christmas presents during Black Friday, even though that’s such a good idea. I typically stock up on essentials, fall/winter clothing, tech, or anything I’ve been eyeing for a while. I do stumble on other things that I end up purchasing that day that I just so happen to see as I’m out. Even though, Black Friday isn’t the same, because online retailers have dominated the industry, it’s still something I look forward to yearly.
It’s time to get those big ticket items. Your girl recently moved, so this is key for me. I have so many “Save For Later” items that I’m adding to cart this Black Friday week. From TVs, to pots and pans set, if it’s something you’ve been eyeing at Target that was a big ticket, I urge you to buy now. I’ve seen things go as low as $100 off and even more. The good thing with shopping here is that, if you’re a part of Target circle, you’ll get some cash back and additional savings. Another tip is to look at big things you’ve purchased recently and check if they’ve been lowered, you can get them price adjusted.
Now when it comes to the essentials, underwear and bras, Black Friday is perfect to stock up. They currently have 40% off everything and in store on Black Friday will be 50% off. Stock up on your pjs, robes and even loungewear. Bras can be expensive, getting them at 50% off makes a huge difference.
Since I was a kid, one of my favorite parts of Black Friday has been going to the Nike outlet. The deals are always so good. It’s discounts on top of already being a discount. I always find cute running shoes, and even legging sets. One thing I love, especially when working out, is pullovers and they always have them in multiple colors for up for 40% off.

Tech is up to 30% off, Christmas decor is also on sale, appliances are up to 40% off and clothing has huge markdowns. They’ve started the pre Black Friday sale, but I know they’ll have additional savings on Friday. I’ve never shopped the in person sale for Black Friday, but I will say to be careful because people can be crazy.
I stumbled upon this hidden gem a few years ago and I was so shocked. I used to shop at JCPenney’s a lot as a kid, and stopped as I got older. They sell some affordable basics that are good quality. My mom and I bought some sweaters, under $15, and basic long sleeve shirts, under $5. We got there right before closing, so we couldn’t explore too much. The fine jewelry is starting at 10% off. Almost everything is marked down now and will be 50% on Friday.

Who doesn’t love Amazon? Maybe you’re like me and have a long “Save For Later” list on your account, well it’s time to place that order. I love having an Alexa in my house, it’s literally attached to my lights and even outlets. If you have been on the verge with getting one, now is the perfect time, because Amazon has them for 56% off. They also have great deals on other home gadgets too. They have sales on honestly every category. I’m also excited to see how they are on cyber Monday.

Right now, they have buy three get three free. But on Black Friday, I expect them to have up to 50% off everything. If you follow this company, you know that they are known for their nine dollars and 99 candles that they do throughout the year, and I believe it will return on Black Friday. One thing that I’m stocking up on, is the room sprays that are only $2.95, I love spraying these all over my house. I also use black Friday as a time to stock up on the gift sets that they sell, these are perfect to give out to extra people during the holidays.
Now, if you are in the gym, or looking for top tier, athletic wear, look no further. I fell in love with a Gymshark a couple years ago, and it all started on a Black Friday. I have been eyeing them for a while, and had a cart that was over $500, when I went to that same cart on Black Friday, it was $200. On Black Friday, through cyber Monday, they drop the prices on almost everything, and make the site 50% off. It’s best to shop this deal early, because so many sizes and styles sell out.

I’m personally a large fan of Aldo shoes, even though I don’t shop there as much as I used to. I feel like they have affordable shoes, no matter your age or style. They even have deals on clothing, shoes, makeup, skincare and even fragrances up to 40% off. These are savings you don’t want to miss!
