First adult concert with mommy
FOUR DAYS TO CHRISTMAS. Well it's officially my first day back in Detroit. Started my day by sleeping in, not that late though. I had to be up for work by noon. Yes you read that correctly, work. As you know, I work the clothing store, Express, back in ATL. I learned that I could do a soft transfer to where I go to work at other stores for however short or long I need to. Only thing I had to was pick a store and call to talk to the store manager. The process was super easy and within the matter of 15 hours I had my first shift.
After work I went with my mommy to The Great Xscape tour. It was downtown at the new Little Caesar's Arena. Along with Xscape, Monica, Tamar, and Zonnique came along too. Of course we were late but we made it in time to see everybody perform but Zonnique. I had so much fun. That was my first adult concert with my mommy. She's taken me to concerts as a kid but we've never seen somebody we both love. I love Tamar, her personality and energy is something serious. I also love Monica, she has something very unique about the way she performs. I absolutely loved seeing Xscape, my favorite two have to be Tiny and Kandi. It's weird seeing somebody you've watched a million times on television in person, but hey i live in Atlanta, I've got used to it.
My mommy and I both wore sweaters and leggings. She switched it up and added some black leather leggings, while I just wore black kitted leggings. Sorry about the first picture, I asked a random worker to take the picture and he sucked. Probably because he was older and was a guy. It looked like he was on his break and he was the first person I saw. I love how I'm older now and my mom and I can do things like this. I can't wait to continue to grow and create new memories with my best friend.
