Blogmas Day 8: Girl Boss Trip 2019

Black Girl Magic is all that I can say for my 2018 Girl Boss Trip. Back on September 29th, I held my first ever girl boss trip to New Orleans. I always wanted to have a networking event and after the Black Market NOLA reached out to me I knew it was time. They invited me to the Elevate Business Expo and asked if I could promote the word. Originally, I wanted a group of ten girls but the timing and preparation wasn't there. So I put together a mini vacay which was meant for four girl bosses to come together, connect, laugh and let down their hair. I'm a strong believer in the power of unity and networking. Hearing other's stories and plans, motivates me to keep going. Besides the event, I had a mini vision board session at the house and went to dinner on top of exploring the city together. The group contained three people from Atlanta and five girls from NOLA. Even though only three of the NOLA girls made it, it was still a great time. At first, things were a little rocky but the trip turned out to be nice. Quick shoutout to my MUA for the weekend who was one of the NOLA girls.
