Blogmas Day Thirteen and Fourteen: Back To Work Blues

Reminiscing on my two week vacation

These last two days do not feel like Friday and Saturday. I woke up feeling sluggish. I took these pictures for my campaign and HATED THEM. I wasn't in the mood and felt unmotivated. Like I said yesterday, I didn't really plan ahead for this shoot, which resulted in a terrible shoot. After I took my pictures, I went to work. It was a complete drag and I felt like I was just going with the motions. I thought I was just sleepy. Saturday, I woke up feeling the complete same. I barely picked up the camera to vlog. While I was at work, I went to lunch with friends and had a good time. I still couldn't seem to shake this sluggish spirit. I came up with a plan to get my mojo back. I sat in my car and prayed to get my spirit back right. After prayer, I decided to go do something I love. I went to the movies because that's my favorite place to go. After my movie I felt so much better. When my spirit is off, my initial response is always prayer and the movie. It helps me get back on track. Going to the movies is my self care. I love going if I'm alone or with somebody. It's important for you to know what to do to get your spirit back on track. Self care is different for everybody. Make sure you explore different things to see what makes you happy. I know exactly what to do to make myself smile. How can you expect somebody to make you happy if you can't do it for yourself? During my time being single, I learned so much about myself. Take care of yourself first! Sorry for the short vlog.
