Blogmas Day Two

Today for me has been a very dragging day. This morning I woke up in a mood. After barely making it to church, I headed back home to take a quick nap before work. For some reason I could not fall back asleep. I tried reading, watching TV, closing my eyes literally everything. I laid around for about two hours and was up and on my way to work. I always like work on Sundays, it’s a short day and usually goes by fast. While at work I put my game face on and made the best of it. After work I rushed to get Dior from the babysitter of the day. I had to go meet with my group for our final presentation. I’m kind of pissed three of my finals are group projects, but hey.
I’m back from meeting with my group and it went actually really well. We met at one of team members house and stayed for about three hours. Of course you know I brought Dior and all she did was sleep in my bag. After the first hour and a half we completed the presentation but stayed because my team member had a study session where she invited her friend's who also go to my school, to come together and study for any upcoming finals. When everybody came it was many new faces that I’d never seen. On top of that it was people who I had previous classes with but never spoke to. It got my thinking, it’s crazy I’ve been going to the same school for over three years and know so few people. It got me thinking, I have this tendency to judge people based on appearance when in reality they have so much to offer. These people were super cool and down to earth. I’m shocked I had such a good time because I honestly wasn’t expecting that. In my many years being at Clark I never went to a “study session” like that where everybody was just trying to get it. It’s true, being around ambitious motivating people forces you to level up.
Alrighty well it’s super late and I have to get up at 6am tomorrow. That’s all I have for you tonight. Don’t forget to look at the people around you, are they motivating you or draining you. Catch up with you tomorrow 🎄
