She's a mentor, author, evangelist, consultant and so much more.

Everyone knows the saying, "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.'' This weeks slay of the week is a living example of this. Allow me to introduce you to, Courtney Aiken. She's a South Carolina native, who relocated to Atlanta and made a way for herself. Courtney is the ShEO of The Showkase Agency, and Finding Me Before I'm Found. The Showkase Agency, is an event, project and brand management firm based in Atlanta, GA. Finding Me Before I'm Found, is a single women ministry to find who they are in God, before marriage. Courtney also, released her first book, 'What Waiting Looks Like' at the end of 2019. It's the guide to preparing you for your status upgrade. It's meant for single women, but women in relationships can definitely benefit from this book. It helps you renovate your life, from the inside out! I loved this book so much, that I sent some to my friends. This book will make you shift your mindset, and come to terms with yourself. Make sure when you read it, you grab a journal to write down everything you've learned through each chapter. I loved that this book focused on the individual, rather than how to get a man. No matter how old you are, how long you've been in love or anything else, it's never too late to renovate yourself. In the book, she uses scriptures to tie it all together. How can your man find you, when you haven't done the preparation to be found.
I loved chatting with Courtney. She shared so many gems for single women. I love how she speaks about embracing your season of singleness, rather than hating it. Her book will cause you to self-evaluate. Sometimes, God will hold on to your blessings until you are prepared and positioned to receive them. On top of that, when you finish this book, you will realize that, you are the upgrade in a mans life. We are currently in a season of standstill in the world. What better time than now to renovate yourself. You can catch up with Courtney on Instagram here. Also, make sure you grab her book, 'What Waiting Looks Like,' anywhere where books are sold. Looking forward to seeing all you have coming in the future!
