#FastingFor4.0s

Well you did it! You finished the six day cleanse and detox. How do you feel? I know I feel prepared, cleansed and confident for my new chapter. I learned a lot about myself. Hopefully, I was able to break old habits. I'm happy my bubble is completely cleansed. I want to thank everybody again for joining this with me. I can't tell you how great it makes me feel to hear everybody's story. This fast and detox was an idea I came up with one day and if it wasn't for my grandmother I don't know how I could have made it happen. Not just her but my families support was incredible. My mommy, grandma, and many of my cousins joined. That's how family is supposed to be uplifting each other and supporting each other.

Like I said, #FastingFor4.0s was just an idea that I came up with one morning. I had to research so much stuff. My grandmother is a pastor so I knew I had to call her. She was actually at work when I called but she stopped everything she was doing just to help me form together this idea. She explained what a fast was and how many of the greats in the bible used them. She also gave me scriptures to read to get more details. Those six days she was actively reading my posts each day. We even talked every day when I was had more questions. She joined the fast and prayed constantly. Everybody who knows me knows the love that I have for my grandmother. Hearing her say she's proud of me is what keeps me going.
My grandma and I are extremely close. As y'all know my mom had me fairly young so my grandma was always like my 2nd mom. She makes sure I'm okay financially, spiritually and even mentally. Her and my mommy are the two women I HATE disappointing. No matter what I do my grandma will always support me. She tells me when I'm right or wrong she doesn't bite her tongue, if it something she doesn't like she will let me know. Words can not express my love I have for her and appreciation for everything she does. AS SOON AS I GET WHERE I NEED TO BE SUCCESSFULLY those are who I'm giving everything to. I can never repay her for everything she does. My grandma is actually the one who gave me the name Diamond (Dymond) the day I was born. Her reason behind it was because she said I was her precious stone. Even though I changed the spelling like you know, I strive everyday to live up to that name. I strive to be a walking light shinning to everyone like a child of God is supposed to.

I had to take the time to not only dedicate this post to all my family members who supported me in this fast but to send appreciation and love towards one of my best cheerleaders my guardian angel my grandma! Thank you and I love you I'll try my best to keep making you proud.
