Summer Vacation

Whether your in high school or college, the summer is slowly but surely approaching. In college, a lot of the people are going home for the break. Uh Oh it’s time for everybody to go back to their at home boo’s. Y'all know what I’m talking about, it’s “You In The City” season. Lol what I mean by that is it’s time for people to either go home to the person they last were with before school OR people who you haven't talked to in over a year gone start texting you, “You Here?” It never fails, this is the time the strongest couples even crumble because of the “home baes.” It’s hard to prevent this, if the line of communication is still open between them too. This is NOT always the case, this is more of a issue freshman year. Don’t allow this to ruin your summer vacation. Take a trip with some of your friends. Use this time to spend with family who you might've not seen.

I know for me being away at school, I have so many family and friends in Buffalo, Detroit, and Oklahoma that I miss. I use the summer to try to go visit them! MOST IMPORTANTLY: Use the summer vacation to STACK YOUR MONEY! I understand it may be hard during school because you might not have a car or the time to actually work, but now you have the time. If you’re working, you won’t have the time to worry about who your boo is seeing or doing. Use the summer to help you level up in every aspect of your life. My summer will consist of grinding (with two jobs), building my brand, traveling, getting back in the gym, and growing this natural hair hunty. My tips when dealing with a “long-distance summer” relationship is to trust your partner. If they have goals and grinding like you this summer you have nothing to worry about, especially if they’re 100% over their ex. “If you're looking for me this summer i’ll be in my bag and dodging bad vibes.”
