The Perfect Spring & Summer Romper From Missguided
Temperatures are finally (SLOWLY) starting to feel like spring here in Michigan. Although we just had snow earlier this week, we are finally getting consistent sunshine. Something about the sun shinning, makes me want to change my entire wardrobe. I told myself before I officially shop for the spring/summer, I need to first go through and purge my closet. As I began to do that, I found an entire package from Missguided that I bought at the end of summer last year. I had over eight items with tags on and wrapped in plastic. The temperatures dropped so quickly last year that I wasn’t able to bring out any of the pieces. That helped so much when I was planning for my last vacation, because I didn’t have to shop at all. One piece in particular from my Missguided package was this, Bardot Flared Sleeve Crinkle Romper.
If you know me, you know these two things: 1.) If I like something, I’m going to go back and buy it in every single color, and 2.) I live for a two piece set, or a romper/jumpsuit. Can I tell you a secret? I’m a lazy dresser sometimes. I love things that are easy to dress up and make cute, hence why I love rompers. In the fall and winter, I wear so many jumpsuits. When temperatures rise, I swap out my jumpsuits for rompers. Two years ago, I found this romper from Missguided in black and white, so last year when I found more colors, I had to snag them. Off the shoulder pieces have been my thing for the last five years. I love showing off my collar bones. Missguided continues to release this romper in new colors and I’m here for it. The Bardot Flared Sleeve Crinkle Romper, is perfect for spring and of course summer. You can wear it casually like I did on vacation (picture above,) or dress it up with some heels. You could even dress this romper all the way down by added some nice sneakers. I currently have it in this rust color, black, white, and even a blue floral. In the photos below, you can see how I’ve styled them. I’ve worn this on vacation, on a boat, on dates, and even to an event. Another reason I love this romper is because they’re so comfortable, but still show your shape. I love being able to breath in clothes. Currently on Missguided, they only have this romper in a yellow tie-dye and white floral, but keep an eye out because they bring them back throughout the season. I’ve already ordered both prints, because they’re just so cute. The big trumpet, voluminous, sleeves are a statement. Every time I wear one of these rompers, I get so many compliments. It’s truly one of my most feminine pieces. The best part about this romper is the fact that it has a belt which helps accentuate my curves.
