5 Ways To Wear A Basic White Bodysuit

dymond phillips • Jan 27, 2021
Happy Wednesday! As you already know, I absolutely love bodysuits. I own so many different styles and colors. During the winter, I like to wear basic pieces and layer them. We've already discussed the Seven Body Suits You Need In Your Closet, now it's time to talk about how to style a basic white bodysuit. The five options I'm going to share can be paired with any style white bodysuit. For today's discussion, I'll be styling a Basic White Crewneck Bodysuit, from Boohoo. I was thinking of pieces you may already have in your closet to pair, to complete the look. The good thing with this bodysuit is that it can be dressed up or dressed down. Even if you're in a warmer or colder climate, you can make it work.

First up, this is such a edgy yet chic look. At first I didn't know if I was going to like it, but after trying it on, I absolutely love it. I paired the white bodysuit with a bright silk midi skirt. This red skirt is currently on sale at Target. Honestly, you could do any color, but I loved pairing it with red, because Valentines Day is approaching. Even if you have a printed midi skirt, like polka dot or cheetah, it'll still look good. I added some black booties from Pretty Little Thing and a leather jacket from Nordstrom. Adding these leather pieces turned this from a corporate look to a edgy look. I could wear this on a date, out for cocktails or even for work, depending on the setting. If you're somewhere where the temperatures are lower, add some tights.

This second option is perfect for a casual day. I love throwing on looks like this when I'm running errands and on chill days. Especially since quarantine, COMFORT is a must. This is even the perfect outfit for a day in of relaxation. This time, I paired the bodysuit with a pair of black joggers from Boohoo and some sneakers from Louis Vuitton. You could pair this with whatever color joggers you have at home and your favorite sneaker. I literally wear this outfit with every bodysuit I own at least once every week. Add a scarf and jacket if you're in a colder climate.

Up next, this is my go to look for mini skirts. I love wearing mini skirts and thigh highs all fall and winter. It's such an easy look, but super cute. I paired this with my pink zipper mini skirt from Target and some Steve Madden over the knee boots. Since the bodysuit is white, you can pair it with any mini skirt in your closet. If you're not a fan of snakeskin, pair it with a black boot and accessorize. If you want, add a colored or flesh tone tight. I picked this mini skirt because it is corduroy and added some texture to the look. This is the perfect outfit for a night out with the girls or brunch.

Of course, I had to pair this bodysuit with some good ol bluejeans. I picked some jeans from Express, that have rips in the knees. Then, I added some leather to add a little pop to the look. I added some studded leather boots from iKrush and a plan leather jacket from Wilson Leathers. This is a good chill outfit. I would wear this to run to the small or grab a quick bite to eat. You could even wear some heeled leather boots to dress the look up.

Last but certainly not least, this is one of my favorite outfits to wear. I wore this look a few months ago for a dinner party and loved it. It's a little too cold here in Michigan for me to wear now, but if you're somewhere warmer, definitely put this look together. I paired the bodysuit with some jogger styled cargo pants from, Uniqlo and some strappy heels from Ego. If you watched my shoe haul, you know how much I love these shoes. You could even belt this look to make it pop. Since I can't wear my toes out right now, I would wear this look with a bootie.
