Blogmas Day 8

*IT'S BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS*

On blogmas day eight the most unexpected thing happened.....IT SNOWED IN ATLANTA!! Now you already know I'm from New York and I've lived in Michigan so I'm no stranger to the cold and snow. Since I move in ATL, I haven't seen much of it. In my few years of living here, I've seen flurries and very light snow once a winter, BUT BABYYYYY on Friday December 8th, I saw the most I've seen here. When it first started I was on my way to Starbuck, as always. The normal drive for me is about 10 minutes but on this day it took over 35 minutes. People in Atlanta aren't used to snow so when it snows they panic and drive so stupidly.
I didn't make it to Starbucks until like noon. I planned on being there for about three hours until I had to go to work, but plans quickly changed. After about a hour, the manager came out and made this announcement. She said that due to the weather they will be closing for their employees safety. When I looked outside it was BARELY any snow on the ground. I WAS HEATED but hey what could I do. So I decided why not just go to work early. On my way to work I got a phone call from my manager. She said not to come in because the mall is closing at 2pm, but I was still going to get paid for the day because it was a state of emergency. I wasn't mad at that, that gave me more time to go do other things. I ended up going home and editing these videos.
I had so many errands to run to get things together for my Blogmas Shoot. Almost all of my errands were ruined because so many things were closing down early. I had to just go home pack and take out my hair to wash it. I was up until about 2am taking my weave out. It just amazed me how quickly things here would close for some little snow. Don't get me wrong it was a little more than normal but I'm used to it. I had to some research on it. Up north, we have these big salt trucks that go put salt on the roads, here they don't have them, they use sand, Yes, sand like sand from the beach. It makes sense why they don't have salt trucks, they get one or two days of snow a year.
Overall, so many things were cancelled but I got to finish some things in the house that I've been needing to do. Well that’s all for Blogmas day eight. Make sure you're subscribed and staying up to date on my posts. Also, share these posts or even hit that heart to say you liked it!💕
