Blogmas Day 9

*It's photoshoot time*

Day nine was a jam packed day, but overall it was so much fun. It started off a little rocky because people were still panicking about the snow. The plan was to get my hair done at 10am get my makeup done at noon, then go run to Target to pick up the rest of the decorations..... But that's not exactly how it went. My hair stylists power was flickering so I couldn't go to her. My other stylist overslept and wasn't up when I woke up. I had to just keep moving forward. I went to get decorations from Target and Party City, and then ended up getting my makeup one done at 12:30pm. I was done by around 1:15pm. I was cutting it close because the shoot was scheduled for 2pm. BUT YET MY HAIR STILL WASN'T DONE. I had to make something shake..
I rushed home to get ready. I had to put my wig back on and change into my comfy clothes. My photographer @themeaganmonique and I came up with the perfect Blogmas/Vlogmas shoot idea. It was so much fun and we knocked it out in about a hour and a half. This video will be released soon! I love working with her because she's super creative. We also worked together for my Breast Cancer video. She always brings my visions to life and it's always nothing but laughs when we are together.
After my shoot I had a couple errands to run. First thing I had to do was go Best Buy to get my camera fixed. Ever since I got back from Philly, my camera had been acting up. When I went, I found out that I was eligible for a new camera. I was super excited to get a new camera and just pay the difference. It worked out because they price matched and waived the restocking fee. After Best Buy, I had to go to Target to take back the decorations I didn't end up using for the shoot. My last errand was to go to the mall to pick up this candle and exchange these leggings. The only mall that had my candle was Lenox. I hate going there, especially on weekends. It's always so crowded and packed for no reason. After that I was finally able to go home and get ready for the nights outing.
Later that night I went to Main Event. It's a place that's like Dave & Busters or an adult Chuck E Cheese. They have a bar, games, bowling, and so much more. It's honestly a good place to go from all ages. One of my friends works there and a few of my friends and I went to pay them a visit.
While we were there we played like two games and bowled for about an hour. It was pretty fun. We went out to celebrate the end of the semester. I normally don't go out so it felt good to finally be off from work. After that I was exhausted and had to go lay down. We didn't leave there until after 2am. Everybody who knows me knows, I'm like a grandma when it comes to staying up late when I don't have to. If I can go to sleep early every night I would.
Overall, blogmas day nine was a lot of fun, and I was able to get a shoot that I've been wanting to do done. It started off rough but turned out to be a really good day. If your day doesn't start out the way you "planned" just keep positive thoughts and keep pushing forward. Don't allow the bad things that happen alter your outlook on the whole day! Until tomorrow ✨
