This weeks slay of the week is tall dark and lovely.

Ladies, this weeks style of the week is one of my good guy friends. I've always loved his style and how he carries himself. Anybody who goes to Clark knows him because he's so outgoing and sweet. He's athletic, caring, cute, and even religious. It's a difference in somebody who says yea I love God and somebody who is really chasing after God. I've known him since first semester of freshmen year. This young man is somebody who is always polite and positive. It's been times when I ask him how he's doing, he always responds by saying, "I'm blessed." I've never even heard him curse. If you've ever had a conversation with him, you know it's just something about him that let's you know he's unique. Plus he's chocolate, ladies love them somebody who's tall and dark skin with a nice smile. I know you're wondering who I'm talking about....

Well this weeks Style Of The Week goes to Jason Howell. He has a unique style and is honestly one of a kind. If I'm being honest, I've never seen him dressed bad or have a off day. Jason was born and raised in Conyers, GA. He is currently a junior at Clark Atlanta University majoring in Mass Media. On top of that he is a athlete. Jason plays baseball for CAU, according to his stats he's one of the better student athletes and one of CAU's top players. Initially, he was looking at Georgia State and Kennesaw State for college. It wasn't until Clark offered him a baseball scholarship that he changed his mind. Not only is he an amazing athlete, he is also super smart. Jason has an overall GPA of 3.54.
Another thing I love about Jason is his spirit. He is a true child of God and carries himself as such. One of the most admirable trait he has is he understands the power of your tongue. He will speak positivity into his life like nobody else. As you can see in the picture above, Jason believes on fulfilling his purpose that God has given him. When I asked Jason what are his dreams/goals, he responded by saying, "I will play professional baseball and really just fulfill Gods will for my life. Which is essentially my purpose." Spoken like a true Christian young man.
After speaking to Jason and hearing about his love for baseball, I began to wonder. I had to ask him what made him start playing it in the first place. He answered by saying, "I started playing baseball because of my dad. When I was younger he put a baseball bat in my hands and from that day forward I fell in love with the game of baseball ." Interesting right? I told y'all he was one of a kind! Jason is so different, and I always wondered who influenced him. So I had to ask. Jason responded by saying, "The biggest influence in my life besides God is my parents most definitely. They have sown into my life from a young age with my education, baseball and ultimately everything that you see today. I am the man I am today because of parents and they will reap what they have sown in my life. Within the next three years my parent WILL NOT be working!" If that response doesn't make you fall in love with the person he is I don't know what will.

Honestly, I've watched him evolve just within these couple years of me knowing him and I love watching him transform. The ora he gives everybody he talks to is amazing. He is a great friend and will listen to you talk about almost anything. I truly thank God for placing him in my life because just by being friends with him it makes me want to be a better person. He walks in his purpose daily and acts as a child of God should. Currently, Jason is on a 21 day fast and I've been encouraging him to stick thru it because he's been working so hard on it.
Now let's get into Jason's style. He has a urban but casual style. Honestly, he can get away with wearing anything. Everything with him is always on point even down to his backpack. I've seen him dressed in a full suit and even in a pair of jeans with a nice tee. Another thing I love about his style is the fact that he isn't pressed for name brands. Don't get me wrong, he has a lot of big designers in his collection but he doesn't over do it. In the picture below, Jason is being the perfect fall/winter outfit. He's wearing a red Zara leather jacket, with some olive green G-Star jeans. He paired it with a black sweater from Urban Outfiters, and some black Nike leather sneakers. This is the perfect outfit for just a normal day, or even to go out with some friends. I had to ask Jason what does he love to do, he responded by saying, "I love God, working out, hanging with friends and just trying new things around the city."

Keep up all the good work Jason, God has a calling on your life and I can't wait to see where he takes you. Ladies you better come correct if looking for a guy like him, he is single and won't settle for just any girl. Continue to grow and grind! Stay focused Jason!
