I Can't Believe It

Dymond Phillips • May 09, 2018
OhMyGosh!!!!!! Dymond's Diary is already one years old. Can you believe I've been a blogger for a year already? I still remember when I first had the idea to start a blog. I didn't know where to start, but thankfully with the help of my intelligent web designer Tate and my amazing mommy, we pulled it off. The idea to start a blog came at the end of 2015 but I didn't end up getting serious and launching until 2017. Over the last year, I've learned so many things that have benefited every aspect of my life. Anybody who knows me, knows I consider Dymond's Diary my baby. Owning and running a business of any kind is a lot of work, especially when you're a full time student and working a regular job throughout the week. One things for sure, I try to always remain consistent and post regularly. Yes, things happen but consistency is everything with whatever you want in life.
Within this year I've also met some amazing people and built relationships with different brands. Running a successful blog has made me more outgoing wherever I go. I'm always networking because we all know it's not what you know, it's who you know. Another reason I think I've been successful this year is because I went for broke. Now when I say that, I mean I was ok with giving my all to my business rather that be financially, mentally or emotionally. Before my blog, I was a closed person, I had to force myself to open up.
Most importantly, I want to thank all of my readers. So many of you tune in every Monday and read each post. Thank you to all the people who've shared my link, pictures and posts. It means so much to me and its honestly the thing thats kept me going. I still get excited when I see each new subscriber or even when I see someone on my site. I especially want to thank each person that wrote in with encouraging words and questions, I love hearing back from you!
One year down, a lifetime to go. I hope everyone sticks around to see all that I have in store for Dymond's Diary for this next year!
