Interview With Goal Driven Owner Of La'Mo Beauty Spa

Meet Laurice Walker, a goal driven esthetician whose determination and consistency helped her create and build a beauty brand, when Covid first began. Laurice launched her business, La’Mo Beauy, in 2020, after graduating from Esthetician school. In just two years, she has been able to expand her services and grow steady clientele. Fresh out of high school, Laurice knew her dream would take her further than any other thing she would do. Her faith and ambition has helped her create a business that continues to grow and expand to service women and men of all ages.

Laurice decided to take a different path after graduating high school. Her original plan was to become the first college graduate, but after a lot of thought, she realized the beauty industry was more fitting to her. With the support of her mother, she stepped out on faith and created her brand. Consistency and determination have been the main two factors that helped her grow in just two years. She believes her business is her baby and continues to put everything into it, knowing that is the only way it’ll grow.

In today’s interview, Laurice shares her journey. Although her path wasn’t easy, she stayed the course. After 2 1/2 short years, she now offers services such as lash extensions, teeth whitening, waxing, and even facials. She has been on billboards and even magazines in our hometown, Buffalo, New York. Laurice even launched her first E-Book, on teaching people how to turn their hustle to a business. 

I first met Laurice, years ago back when we were children in Buffalo. I love seeing people from my city flourish in business. I know she will continue to grow her brand and business to new levels.
