Slay Of The Week
Happy Monday!!! This is week three in quarantine. I'm so proud of myself for continuing to do what I said I was going to do. Remember how I said my focus for this extra time is connecting? Well, this week I'm continuing with my girl boss interviews. Today, we're chatting with one of Atlanta's youngest and talented makeup artists. We actually crossed paths back in 2018, at the Mac store. After she did a phenomenal job on my face, I had to exchange information with her. I'm so glad she was open to share her journey. After hearing her story, I now understand divine timing. When God orders your steps, you'll be put in rooms you don't even think you're qualified to be in. Her brand, 'Illustrious Looks,' continues to grow with each client she works with.
I hope watching this talk inspires you to follow your passion. Money is going to come especially when you're doing something you truly love. For me, this interview motivated me to keep going. Sam focused on perfecting her skill consistently. You should be working towards what you say you want, daily. My biggest focus for this second quarter is consistency. I'm obsessed with working everyday towards my dreams. I'm in a space where I appreciate the journey! Consistent baby steps will get you to wherever you want to be.
