Interview With The Customization Queen

Slay Of The Week is Back

Today is April 1st. It's the first day of the second quarter of the year. Time to restart and refresh your hustle. Yes, you read that right. Slay of the week is back. For my new readers you might not know, back in 2017, I used to interview different people who were apart of the fashion/beauty community. I loved connecting and hearing their stories. Some were recorded, some were written, but both had the same impact. One of my focuses for 2020, is networking and connected with people. I had so many conferences, and events on my calendar, but with everything going on, things are on pause. During this quarantine time, I wanted to continue with that. I had an idea a few weeks ago to do one-on-one video interviews with people. When things shift, you have to be able to shift with them. This idea was brilliant.
First up, is no stranger to Dymond's Diary. She's someone who I started working with back in 2017. I actually have an article from when I first started working with her. (click here to read)   Rachel is the owner of Customs by Rachel. She's created so many pieces for me over the years. I honestly don't remember how we crossed paths, but I'm so happy we did. In the video below, we chat about everything business, personal and so much more. Rachel has such a strong work ethic, that I had to know her secrets. Hopefully after all of this clears up, we can link and do this face to face again. Huge thank you to Rachel for opening up and sharing her journey with me to share with you. I hope you take her story and use it as motivation to follow your passion. Rachel is a OG in the business game and continues to dominate year after year. Her brand has evolved to more than customization. She now has apparel, slides and more. Everything is available on her site https://customsbyrachel.com. Make sure you use my code Dymond with anything you order.
If you have someone you'd like for me to interview comment below, shoot me an email, or send me a DM. I love hearing peoples insight. Everybody has a unique story and I love sharing them with you. Use this time to do something productive, learn something new about yourself, or just meditate. Don't come out of this quarantine the same way you came in. I understand it's an odd time in the world, but don't let that distract you from your 2020 goals. Read a new book, write, learn a new hobby, the possibilities are endless. Until next week, stay safe and stay inside!
