It's Not Just The Clothes

Lets talk about the thing most people don't talk about. SNIFF SNIFF, what type of deodorant do you wear? Ladies, this week I'm talking to you,. Don't be the cute face with the fly outfit but musty. Summer is quickly approaching, and it's too hot to be out here smelling like "bounce that a$$" lol. I understand, between working out, working, and just going about your day sometimes it's hard to stay smelling fresh off one shower. KNOW YOUR BODY TYPE! Personally, for my body type, I can't especially in the summer only wash up in the morning and not at night, because I'm constantly on the go. I like to change my deodorants with the seasons. For the winter, I use Dove and for the late spring/summer I use Degree. Let's start by comparing deodorants to antiperspirants. According to cosmetic chemist Ron Robinson of Beautystat.com, “Antiperspirants are over-the-counter deodorants that contain FDA-monograph-approved ingredients that interact with the sweat glands to help stop perspiration. Deodorants are products that work to mask underarm odor. They often contain a fragrance or perfume, along with an active ingredient called triclosan that is commonly used and works to prevent bacteria from growing, which in turn helps prevent odor.”

Deodorants do not prevent wetness but antiperspirants do. There are many forms of deodorant to chose from. The most common type of deodorant is the stick. There are many brands for stick deodorants, including Secret, Dove, Speed Stick, Old Spice and more, It goes on dry and is typically solid white. Secret Invisible Solid deodorant is a gel that leaves no marks. Another form of deodorant that more people have been gravitating to is the spray. After you spray it on your armpit, it feels dry to touch and doesn't transfer to clothing. Degree, Dove, Nivea, Axe and more have created a spray kind of deodorant.

The last form of deodorant, is the cream. Soapwalla Deodorant Cream will run you about $14. It’s sodium laurel-sulfate and aluminum zirconium-free, it's a good option for pregnant women and those who are looking to go more natural. There are toooo many forms and brands of deodorant out there for us not to find the right one for our body type. Go out and try some and experiment it's worth it, because once you find the best one for you, you'll never have to sneak sniff yourself.
