Do you need a shift, clarity or a breakthrough? You need to join me

Summer 2020 is quickly coming to an end. This has been a long, and unique summer. We are currently living in some strange times, where things change daily. There's only three months left in what seems to have been the longest year. 2020 taught me that nothing is forever, and living fearful will hold you back. I'm so happy that God has extended grace to cover me through this pandemic, racial injustices, and the many deaths all around. If you're still here September 14th, 2020, you should be so grateful, because a lot of people didn't live to see this day. With all of that being said, what better time to fast and detox. Many people think fasting is only food. Food for some is the most difficult thing to give up. If your like me, and food is not that big to you, you have to actually sit down and think about the things that are most difficult for you to sacrifice. Some people are attached to social media, watching TV, or partying, whatever it is for you let it go. Don't just cut it out of your life, the whole point is to fill that time with prayer and meditation.  Rather than spending your lunch break eating and watching Netflix on your phone, you should take a prayer walk and ask God to prepare you for the new season. Feast on God's word. Take this time to let go of at least four of your favorite go-to things. Really sit and think about what to let go of. Don’t cheat yourself or try to play God, really give up some stuff of value.

This is my fourth annual Fast And Detox. Starting tomorrow at noon for a week, we will be praying for breakthroughs and clarity. This fast and detox is to prepare us for the new season. Fall is around the corner, as is Q4. You don’t want the stress, struggles, fears, confusions, people, or things that held you down in the summer, to follow you into the fall. Whenever I get confused, feel lost, or feel like I don’t know what God is calling from me, I like to just silence out the noise with the fast. When I surrender the things that I crave and use daily to God, I can spend one on one time with him. When you have so many distractions, it’s hard to hear God. Thru fasting we become more aware of the areas that Gods spirit is interested in helping us grow. Fasting helps us keep our balance, and helps us realize what things truly matter in our life. Most things we crave aren't essential, but yet still can takeover our life. Fasting is when we voluntarily chose to give up something of value to us, with the purpose to replace it with intimate time with God. Many great saints fasted like David, Esther, Paul, Elijah, Moses, and Jesus. Fasting is a great way for us to review the things in our life that control us.

This is not only a fast for my spiritual readers, this is a detox for my non-religious people too. Detoxing is essential to having a happy and prosperous life. Detoxing cleanses you mind and body to be align with your life. This is a life detox. This is a time to meditate and hear you inner voice, get clear on your goals and to come up with a plan to have an amazing future. We are cleansing our mind, body and spirits. After the long nine months we just encountered, we need to get rid of all the things holding us back. This detox will also help jumpstart your discipline, which is essential for growth. You can't level up with the same old habits. During this detox I challenge you to create at least two productive daily habits, that stick even after the detox is over.

Starting tomorrow at noon, until September 22nd, I will be giving up Starbucks, Youtube, Social Media, (besides business and updates) fast food, candy and pop. Also, I'm only watching two hours of tv and not eating after 7pm. During this fast and detox,  I will share daily activities that will help you clear out your life, and get ready for the blessings coming. This is a time for silence, to meditate on hearing God and your inner voice. For the next seven days, I will be keeping you updated on scriptures to read each day and different prayers. I'll also be sharing posts daily via Instagram make sure you're following me. (@Dymond_lashay) I'm super excited because, this fast and detox changes my life every year. Thank you to everybody who is participating. If you're interesting, just make a list of four things and really stick to it. I will be talking to you tomorrow, remember to remain disciplined. Lets make it happen. Remember you can't level up, if you aren't willing to do the work! After all the blessings God has given you, are you willing to sacrifice things you love for him?
