Leather Knee Length Boots 4 Ways | Saks Off Fifth Boots

dymond phillips • Feb 24, 2022

One of my focuses for the year is expanding my closet. I want to build a solid capsule wardrobe for every season. Yes I have a lot of clothes, but they’re one off pieces. I want to get pieces with longevity and quality. Plus, I started my first corporate job back in January and I’ve been creating my work wardrobe with the help of my parents and friends. I’ve never worked in Corporate America, so I had no idea how to dress for my new role. I wanted to fit in industry standards without losing my personal style. On top of that, I turn twenty-five this year and I want my closet to reflect pieces that showcase the woman I am evolving into.

Perfect Winter Boot

When I first started the job, I thought I researched so much about the types of clothes and shoes I can wear. I was convinced the only type of shoes that were office appropriate were pumps and Chelsea boots. Thankfully, after a talk with my mom, I learned that that wasn’t exactly true. One piece that I’ve had on repeat for the last few weeks are these Leather Knee High boots from Saks Off 5th. At first, I had the black ones and after a day of wearing them, I knew I needed the brown pair. I’m so thankful my mom found these boots.

For the past year or two, I’ve been obsessed with square toe shoes. I don’t dislike point toe, but I find the square a little more comfy. With this new job, I’ll be doing a lot of walking and being on my feet, so comfort with shoes is essential. The heel on these is a block and only three inches. By it being a block, it doesn’t look as short. I’m not a fan of kitten heels, I wanted to still look chic. I like quality shoes, especially when it comes to leather. Faux leather is cool when it comes to trendy pieces, but with staples I like to have genuine leather for longevity. Another thing I love about these boots is that they don’t have any hardware on them. I always feel stuck when my boots have silver or gold, but with these I can wear honestly anything. They’re literally the perfect length for any office setting.

The great things with these boots are that, they don’t have to only be worn to work. These boots are perfect for casual days too. I’ve found myself grabbing these boots even on a weekend to run errands. If you’re looking for a elegant chic pair of knee length boots, look no further. Here’s a secret, they look so more expensive than they actually are! Click here to grab your own pair of these boots they come in black and chestnut. They’re currently on clearance and selling so fast.

BELOW I'LL SHOW FIVE WAYS YOU CAN STYLE THESE BOOTS. THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS

  1. You can pair it with a dress. I live in Michigan, so I love a good sweater dress. These boots look good with or without tights.

2. You can pair them with a good jean and sweater. On casual days, I love wearing turtleneck sweaters with jeans. It's a quick outfit that doesn't require a whole lot. Even if you change to a t-shirt, these boots are perfect to go over or under a good pair of jeans.

3. You can pair them with a good pencil skirt. Honestly, it can be any mid length skirt. That's why I love the simplicity of these boots, with this loud outfit, I love how they pair well. I honestly could have even paired the brown pairs with this.

4. Lastly, you can even pair these with leggings. I live for loungewear, but sometimes I like to dress up my leggings by adding a sweater or blazer. The elegance of these boots paired with this tweed blazer makes this simple leggings and turtleneck look more dressy than it is.
