48 Hours 2 Cities: Charlotte & Greensboro

Last weekend, my mom and I went to North Carolina, Greensboro and Charlotte, to be exact. While we were there, we got to see one of my longest childhood friends, and her family, along with my cousin and some other family members. We flew into Charlotte on Friday morning, and spent the day there. Then drove to Greensboro on Saturday, and spent the night there. On Sunday, we drove back to Charlotte, to fly out back home. I know I say this a lot, but it was really good to be around loved ones. It’s so easy to get caught up in your own life that you forget how much fun it is to be around people who genuinely love you. Jada, is one of my longest childhood friends. We don’t talk often, but every time we see each other, we never skip a beat.

I’m very blessed to say that I come from a family of graduates. We are really big on celebrating graduations, whether that be high school, undergrad, grad, and so forth. When we got the news about my cousin, Sydney, graduating last month, we knew we were going to make it. We found the perfect flight. It was a bonus that this happened to be Jada‘s birthday weekend. We're able to kill two birds with one stone. We were able to attend Jada’s birthday dinner, see her house and new baby, and of course had some turn up time at this lounge afterwards. My cousin Sydney, graduated from North Carolina, A&T on Saturday morning and we had brunch at the cutest place afterwards. We even had a family movie day and went to see Will Smith’s Emancipation. Overall, the trip was amazing, so many family members came from different places to celebrate this accomplishment.

Thank you so much for watching, I hope you enjoyed this vlog.
