Spend Thanksgiving With My Family

We Are Family, I Got Everybody With Me

Two weeks ago, I headed to Virginia to spend Thanksgiving with my family. We decided to go to my grandmothers house this year, because we never have. The last time I went to Virginia, was in September, when my Grandpa Tony had his open heart surgery. My parents and I drove down for a week to be with him. When we left, he was in the ICU recovering. It’s amazing to see him awake, talking and full of energy. He isn’t cleared to travel until 12/13, so if we hadn’t went to visit them, we wouldn’t have spent Thanksgiving with my grandparents. I’m so happy we did, because family is everything. For a long time, I was living unbalanced and not prioritizing family, but the older I get, the more I understand how important family is. Don’t get me wrong, they work my last nerves, but I wouldn’t trade them for the world. My parents, brother and little cousins drove in, and my cousin from Oklahoma came by. With everyday life, it’s so easy to fall into routines that you miss being present with the small moments. I loved just sitting around the living room watching Netflix. These will be the memories we’ll have forever.

I tried my hardest to vlog most of it. Of course I missed some moments, because my focus was on being present. I hope you enjoy my Thanksgiving weekend vlog. It was filled with love. Family is all you have, you have to cherish the family you still have. Thank you so much for watching. From my family to yours, happy holidays!
