Ladies, this week I’m talking to y’all. Over the past two weeks I’ve been cleaning out my closet. Selling and giving away clothes, and even throwing some away. I plan to start my fall shopping the first week in August, even though I’ve already bought some pieces here and there. Anywho, as I’ve been cleaning out my closet, smoothing I can’t seem to let go off is this black pencil skirt. Every girl needs one at least one of these in her closet. They come in so many styles and can be worn in so many ways. Black pencil skirts are so essential because they can be paired with almost anything and still be super cute. These adorable things can be dressed up or even dressed down and even casual. Black pencil skirts come in a range of sizes, textures, prices, and lengths. Some places who have cheaper ones are Forever 21, H&M, Express, Fashion Nova Macy’s and Banana Republic. Those ones can range from $9-$50. Now if you want to get fancy lol, you can get you a designer one from Barney’s, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Farfetch, or Bloomingdales. The designer ones can range from $190-$1100. Whichever you decide, a black pencil skirt is truly essential for your closet. Let’s say you have an interview. Pull out that handy dandy black pencil skirt, with a cute button down with some loafers or even pumps. You can accessorize it in many different ways. On top of that, depending on where your interview is, you can throw on a blazer to add a little extra spice. Here’s some examples of that style.
Next up, let’s say you and your homegirls are getting together and going out or maybe you’re feeling good and want to actually out on something cute for class. You think you have nothing wear because you’ve worn all your cute put together outfits. NOPE, go grab your black pencil skirt it’s time to freak it out. Now, depending where y'all are going, will determine how to wear it. For example, say y'all are going to a kickback. You can wear it with a lather jacket and a graphic tee. Now this look would be cute with some converses or even some vans. Now let’s say y'all are going club hopping. Now this look can be super cute long as you do it right. You can wear your black skirt with a matching black crop top with some pumps. Also, you can even wear a button down but tie it up and some heel sandals. This look can be dressed up with a cute hate or even a designer or girly clutch
