I'm super sad to say that summer is coming to an end, very slowly I must add. I have been trying to get in all my final summer looks since the season officially changed. I live in Atlanta where it's still 90 degrees so summer is here. Over the season I fell in love with off the shoulder pieces. I'm so quick to throw on an off the shoulder dress or blouse with jeans. Off the shoulder dresses for me are super cute and so versatile. I know it's weird but this past year, I've fell in love with my shoulders. I don't care if it's a sweater, button down, t-shirt, or dress I will find a way to show off at least one of my shoulders.
The off the shoulder trend is here to stay, It works on a variety of body types, and it's the perfect way to show a little skin without getting too risqué! These pieces can be worn to class, work, date night literally anywhere. A basic off the shoulder dress can range anywhere from $4 and up.
Another reason why I love the off the shoulder trend is because it's a great transition piece into fall. For example sweaters are now coming with one or even both of the shoulders out. The cold shoulder sweater trend is one that blossomed last season and I don't doubt it'll take off even better this fall. I'll get more into sweaters once the temperatures drop, now I want to focus more on dresses and blouses. You can pair an off the shoulder dress of any color with a pump or cute sandal and it'll be a look to die for.
Off the shoulder shirts can be paired with jeans, slacks, skirts, or even shorts with a stiletto if you're dressing it up. If you're dressing it more casual you can pair it with a loafer or even a bootie to give it a chic but comfy look. Currently H&M and Zara have all their "summer" dresses on sale and I recently found a off the shoulder dress for $4. I bought it in EVERY color!
