Secret Of A Champion

It's a mindset

A few weeks ago I was at work, and started watching the NBA Draft. It’s crazy because I was surprisingly really interested in it. It was like my eyes were glued and I couldn’t stop watching. If you know me you know, I’m not a huge sports person. I played a couple sports in high school but I don’t watch the NBA like that. I’ve went to some games but watching sports isn’t my first choice. Anywho, each name that was called and selected by these extraordinary teams were special. As I continued to watch, it got my wheels spinning in my head. Bottom line, it motivated me and showed me that dreams do come true, if you are willing to work hard enough. As the night went on, I felt myself continuously thinking about the draft so I started researching and reading the players stories. After hearing all these names being called, I had to know how. People dream of going to the NBA, I had to know what these men did to make it their reality.

Although these men were from different parts of the world, they all had something in common. That thing was, the discipline. They all put in the work to win. You don’t become a pick in the draft just by accident, you get it by putting in the WORK! Successful people talk so much about doing the work necessary, to really see it was amazing. You have to learn to discipline yourself so life doesn’t have to. According to Tyler Coston, ”Everyone knows it‘s painful and hard to wake up at 6am and get to work. It’s difficult and painful to sacrifice the lesser desires for the greater desires.” That is the champions secret. They remain disciplined in sacrificing their right now for the future they want. Do you have a champion mindset? Train your mind to be stronger than your body or you’ll never be disciplined!

Next week I promise I will bring back the fashion and beauty to the blog. Lately, I’ve just been feeling so motivational and I just want to share it so everybody can be great. Have a great week, crush those goals! It's a new month, new goals. Have the year is gone, make the rest count.
