Spring Fresh Everyday Face

Happy Wednesday, it's the first Friday of spring. Spring officially started on Monday and I am beyond excited for this new season. March is literally flying by. It’s been pretty warm the last few days and it’s time to be outside! It’s my favorite time of the month, when I  discuss my Base Boxycharm Box with you. This box came just in time, because as I’m starting to go out more and take my mask off, I need to make sure my makeup is on point. One of my favorite things about Boxycharm, is that it’s not all makeup. The key to having a great makeup look, is having good skin. Boxycharm has you covered because they mix skincare and makeup to give you a great monthly box of goodies.

If you don't know, Boxycharm is a monthly makeup subscription. Each month, you get at least five full-sized makeup and/or skincare products. They have different options: Base Box $25/month with 5 full size products, Premium Box $35/Month, with 6 full size products, and Luxe which is 8 full‑size products every 3 months for an additional $24.99. I love Boxycharm, because there are so many beauty brands out there, and I never know where to start when trying new products. With this subscription, I’m able to get new products from brands I know and some I don’t. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve received a product in my box that I loved, and ran to Sephora to get more. Whether you are new to the beauty world, or trying to expand your collection, Boxycharm is perfect for you. This months theme is Game Changer. Why not gift yourself Boxycharm for Women’s History month. New season means new looks, let's be game changers together. Now let’s break down each product I was in my box!

1.Frank Body | Brightening Vitamin C Mask

When I first opened this product it reminded me of a roll-on deodorant. I love the packaging, because it was simple yet detailed. Plus, I love anything pink honestly. It’s a pump liquid mask that's natural and cruelty free. It’s meant to dissolve your top layer of dead dull and damaged skin. It retails for $19.99, and has a lot of product in it. Vitamin C is good for hydrating your skin, and helping with inflammation. Plus, vitamin c can be used as an exfoliant. When I washed the product off, I instantly saw a nice glow on my face.

2.Korres | Santorini Grape Velvet Skin Drink

This is a light oil for your face that felt good going on my face. This oil has a light scent to it. I actually liked the scent while applying it to my face, normally I don’t enjoy scented products though. This product is meant to transform your skin by blurring imperfections, smoothing texture and adding hydration. It retails for $48.00. This product absorbed nicely into my face. FYI: a little bit of this product goes a long way.

3.Luxie | Florals Brush Set

First let me say I love the purple pouch that this brush set came in. Whenever I get brushes in my box, I’m excited. This set came with four brushes: an eyeliner brush, eye shaping brush, concealer brush, and a tapered blending brush. It also came with a small blender sponge. I loved the small sponge, it was perfect to blend out my concealer on the trouble areas, like the crease of my nose. This retails for $40.00. I did a little research and found that this brand is known to have a great quality brushes.

4.Persona Cosmetics | Lip Liner

I was just telling myself I needed more liners, because I really only use browns. If you are someone like me who has to wear lip liners with lipsticks, you would appreciate this product. It’s a cream gel lip liner in a burgundy/brick shade. It’s super creamy and pigmented. It retails for $14.00. I was nervous that it would be messy, but it dried down pretty well. That means that this product has good staying power, so it’ll be long lasting.

5.Eleman Beauty | Matte Liquid Lipstick

I have a love-hate relationship with matte lipsticks. I hate when they get “chalky.” It’s safe to say that I did not get that with this product. I loved the contrast with the darker liner and lighter lipstick for an ombré affect. I was nervous with the shade, but I actually liked it. This product retails for $18.00. This is going to for sure be my spring shade!

My box retailed for 139.95. That’s a steal, because with Boxycharm you could get all five of these for only $25.00. I actually enjoyed all of my products this month. My favorite product was the oil, and the lipstick. I will definitely be using all of these products in the future. If you are interested in getting any of these products click here to shop on Boxycharm. Thank you so much to Boxycharm for sending me this box, all opinions are my own.
